Billie
Alban and Barbara Bunker are
internationally known consultants and leaders in the practice
of Organization Development (OD). Alban and Bunker strive
to help clients improve their organization's effectiveness
in managing change. Their work includes strategic planning,
executive team development, and work to improve cross-functional
relationships between key areas. They are active in training
others in the field of Organizational Development. Much of
their recent work has focused on Large Group Interventions
that bring the organization and its stakeholders together
to work on strategic issues, a common direction, and commitment
to action. In addition, they have developed programs for several
companies for training their Human Resource people in Organizational
Development skills.
Their groundbreaking book, Large Group
Interventions: Engaging the Whole System for Rapid Change
(1997), creates a framework for the use of these new large
group methods and is a classic in the OD literature.
In their practice they work with business,
education, government, non-profit organizations, and communities.
They both have extensive experience in cross-cultural work.
